Johnny Manziel Denies Throwing Party, Says He Needs to Stop acting like a ‘Jackass’


Remember when Cleveland Browns fans were all pumped about their team being 7-4 and potentially challenging for a playoff spot (if not a division crown)? Boy, things have definitely hit the fan since that aberration—five straight losses and a Johnny Manziel walk-off party that got Josh Gordon suspended again.
But hold the phone one second on that party, because according to Johnny that story is “100% false” and he merely partied with Gordon and friends somewhere else—per Steve Doerschuk of The Repository.



 
Settle down, people. Johnny only put himself in position to sleep through walk-throughs, not Gordon as well. He’ll admit to dragging himself down, but it will be over his dead body if he’s responsible for a teammate too!
He added that he must now stop acting like a “jackass,” for his career’s sake:


 
 
If Manziel wasn’t serious before, you better bet he sure is now!  Trust me, it’s one thing to say you’re going to be serious about your job, but when you start looking in that mirror, you see stuff like this:
