It’s never easy to say goodbye to a guy who was likable, had a couple crazy sex fetishes (just don’t see that in sports anymore) and had a personality that guaranteed the Jets winning the backpage. The strippers at Rick’s Cabaret, as you’d expect, aren’t handling the situation very well. They’re sad.
From a Rick’s press release:
“We love the Jets and Rex was a very colorful guy,” said Rick’s Cabaret NYC girl Kelly. “But let’s face it, he had to go.”
Rick’s Cabaret NYC girl Justine agreed. “You can’t lose all those games and keep your job, but we wish him well.”
“It’s tough,” purred Rick’s Cabaret NYC girl Katherine. “Rex Ryan has never been to Rick’s Cabaret, so I dot know him personally, but I’ve met some of the Jets players, and I know they loved him. So, I feel bad for the guys.”
Rick’s Cabaret NYC girl Lindsay still supports Ryan. “It’s not his fault. If he had a quarterback things would be different.”
So Rex leaves with a 46-50 record and a tattoo of his wife wearing a Mark Sanchez jersey. There was so much promise for Rex and Sanchez. They had the city by the balls after those back-to-back AFC Championship games. You could see the relief on Rex’s face during Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. His prison sentence was over.
Something tells me Rex is going to take some time off, work on his sexual fantasies and see what NFL job he wants to take. Maybe he’ll stop into Rick’s for a foot fetish session before taking the Chicago job.
Going to be in town to watch the Knicks get blown out? Leave early and head over to Rick’s. It’s a short walk. Cheer up the girls. 50 West 33rd Street.
