Just when you thought Jose Canseco and model Leila Knight were going to make it, the former MLB slugger just had to mess it up and verbally abuse his then-fiancée and her mom.
But lost amidst all of these alleged death threats, steroid abuse, and blown off fingers is a very important question: How were their pets separated?
We contacted Miss Knight to find out, and she was gracious enough to respond:
In terms of longevity, Canseco got a steal with the tortoises, those things last forever. But as far as cuteness, Knight came away the victor hands down.
