NFL Won’t Punish Dominic Raiola For Being A Jerkoff At End Of Patriots Game

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is known for running up the score a bit in blowout games. He did just that on Sunday against the Lions, calling a run play for LeGarrette Blount late in the fourth quarter to give him his second touchdown of the game (and put the Pats up 34-9).

This didn’t sit well with Lions center Dominic Raiola, who decided the best course of retaliation would be to dive at Zach Moore on the final play of the game:

Raiola explained his saltiness to the Detroit Free-Press after the game:

I cut him…We took a knee, so I cut the nose (tackle). They went for six (a touchdown). They went for a touchdown at 2 minutes. They could have took three knees and the game could have been over. It’s football. He wants to keep playing football, let’s play football. Not a big deal. It’s football.

In addition to cut blocking, Raiola’s arsenal of football moves includes punching (again, Zach Moore is on the receiving end):

If you found these plays offensive, the NFL disagrees with you and will not be fining Raiola, according to Ian Rapoport:

Watch yourself, Dominic. The second you put on some Beats by Dre headphones don’t expect the same type of coddling.

Until then, feel free to take cheap shots when you’re feeling down.

…And tell fans to suck your dick:
