Lance Armstrong Quits Beer Mile After One Budweiser, One Lap

Love him or hate him, former seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong has to be one of the healthiest human beings around. Sure, he doped big time and is one of the most hateable athletes outside of Alex Rodriguez and Aaron Hernandez, but no one can deny the cheater probably has little to no body fat.
Unfortunately for Lance, however, being built like a well-oiled machine doesn’t provide merits for every athletic competition.
For instance, Armstrong tried his hand at a beer mile at Yellow Jacket Stadium on Sunday, and gave forth an effort that was anything but “Livestrong.” The former marathon and triathlon participant wilted after completing just one beer and one lap, muttering, “That was not what I expected.”

If you’re curious about finish times from the qualifier, Flo Track has you covered:

Results from J&A’s Beer Mile Qualifier:
Lon Breintenbach – 6:07
Pat Hitchins – 6:08
Lance Parker – 6:15
Jake Morse – 7:45
Todd Gerlach – 7:59
Lance Armstrong – DNF

A DNF is always bad, but this one is made even worse by the root cause being one Budweiser. Not a good look, Lance.
