The NFL has again decided to be known as the No Fun League yet again with the lame taunting penalties being called this season. The league thought they would win back the fans by allowing touchdown celebrations. However, now players are expected not to be happy about making a great play. Fans are pleading to the league to get out of its own way.

A huge taunting call was made by officials that could’ve cost the Seahawks the game in regulation. Why has the league decided that trash talk can no longer be a part of the game? The NFL has made bonehead decisions in the past. With this move, fans and even media members are joining forces in giving their opinions of this lame rule.

Not a single person who watches the NFL believes the new taunting penalty makes any sense. The NFL has once again stepped into a situation that didn’t need saving. This penalty will soon go the way of the pass interference review, but for this season, fans will have to deal with unnecessary taunting penalties that will soon enough cause a team to lose. The league should go ahead and apologize to both the Falcons and Lions. That will be the matchup of two fan bases that see their team always find a new way to lose.
