The rivalry between Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau has been great for golf.
The two stars clearly have a genuine disdain for each other and their interactions have always got the internet buzzing.
Now, Koepka is sharing his thoughts about the rivalry.
Koepka knows the internet loves the budding rivalry, so he’s not afraid to lean into it.
“Yeah, I think it’s good for the game. I really do,” Koepka said. “The fact that golf’s on pretty much every news outlet for about two weeks pretty consistently, I think that’s a good thing. It’s growing the game.

“You know, the younger generation – I get the traditionalists who don’t agree with it. I understand that, but I think to grow the game you’ve got to reach out to the younger generation and I think that’s what – I don’t want to say that’s what this is, but it’s reaching out to a whole bunch of people. It’s getting golf in front of people. I think it’s good for the game.”
Anytime you can get a rivalry in sports, it is good for the game.
Now, we just have to hope that Koepka and DeChambeau can get paired together for the final round of a tournament sooner rather than later.
