Angel Cabrera, a former Masters champion in 2009, has been extradited to Argentina.
The former PGA champ is being accused of attacking three different women which led to his arrest in Brazil back in January, according to TMZ Sports.
The 51-year-old is accused of assaulting two ex-girlfriends and his ex-wife.
The accusations include punching a former girlfriend and assaulting his ex-wife, but his attorney is denying the severity of the actions.
Cabrera is not denying he attacked the women, he is just claiming it wasn’t that bad.
“The accusations come from long ago … and he was not in jail because the facts attributed to him are insignificant. They are light injuries,” attorney Carlos Hairabedian said.
Cabrera is currently behind bars and awaiting his trial in July. We’ll have to see how that defense works out for him.
