Rapper Lil Pump will no longer be welcome aboard JetBlue flights.
According to a report from USA TODAY, the “Gucci Gang” rapper has been banned from the airline after causing a scene prior to a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles.
Per the report, Lil Pump refused to wear a facemask despite the airlines COVID-19 protocols amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Lil Pump reportedly “became verbally abusive with crew members after being asked multiple times and refusing to comply with JetBlue’s face covering policy.”
Law enforcement had to get involved, though it is not believed the 20-year-old was arrested.
“His return reservation was cancelled and he is no longer welcome to fly on JetBlue,” JetBlue representative Derek Dombrowski said in a statement. “The safety of all customers and crewmembers is JetBlue’s first priority.”
JetBlue first began requiring passengers to wear face masks on May 4 near the beginning of the global pandemic.
