I Think This Was The Only Happy Florida State Fan At Doak Campbell Last Night

What a sad night it was for Florida State fans who had to sit/stand through an abysmal effort from the Seminoles in the opener against Va. Tech and Willie Taggart’s first game since taking over for Jimbo Fisher who left for a ~~better job~~ (I mean way more money). Suddenly we’re looking at a Florida State team that has wins over Wake, Duke, Syracuse, Delaware State, Florida, Louisiana Monroe and Southern Miss since the start of 2017.
Look, I’m not a college football expert like you guys are, but that FSU team last night didn’t look as big, fast and strong as the bad ass Seminoles teams that sucked the soul right out of your body. Va. Tech was way more prepared and hungry. FSU actually looked a lot like Michigan in its opener.
Willie Taggart might be a helluva recruiter, but his career record now stands at 47-51. True, it’s early, but last night had to be a bad sign for Seminoles fans who thought this team would come out prepared and ready to show that Jimbo made a bad decision leaving town. At the end of the night there were already cries from the disgruntled that it’s time to fire Willie.
How bad was it last night?

I’m sure it’s been posted by now, but last night was the first time since the Wake Forest game in 2008 that Florida State was held without at TD at home. In fact, in the last 15 years, FSU has been held without a TD at home 3 times and twice it came against Wake.
