Just like I said this morning with the Marlins fan diving into a pool for Giancarlo Stanton’s home run, this is the kind of stuff that needs to happen to keep us interested in baseball this early on. I even mentioned catching a foul ball in a beer as an example.
Yes, this is a little different. This Cubs fan didn’t catch the ball in his beer. Actually, the ball was on a mission to destroy this guy’s beer by way of Anthony Rizzo. Same difference, though.

It may sound low brow, but I’m going to watch a guy’s beer explode in his face from a home run every single time. Normally I wouldn’t even know this game was being played, and now here we are.
