How lit were Patriots fans after their team rallied back from a 25-point deficit to win Super Bowl 51? So lit that some of them actually injured themselves celebrating.
According to Fox 25 Boston, Pats fan Diane Vadala cracked her foot while jumping after James White clinched the team’s fifth Super Bowl title. Diane, who finished fourth in the World Natural Bodybuilding Championships in 2014, was apparently jumping “like a nut” when the injury occurred:
But as soon as the team won, she went bounding down the stairs to watch the celebrations and started “jumping around like a nut.”
That’s when something broke in her foot and she scheduled a doctor’s appointment for early Monday morning.
Vadala said doctors are considering surgery, but aren’t sure the best course of action yet.
Diane shouldn’t feel too bad about breaking her foot — this guy also suffered a self-inflicted leg injury watching the Falcons collapse:
