Tennessee fans’ optimism for their season took a hit last week after a very concerning performance against Appalachian State. For real, the Vols came so, so close to being referenced with Michigan when people talk about the Mountaineers.
One second grade Vols fan was none too pleased about the game, and vented her frustrations in a writing assignment. Her teacher, Emily Thomas, took to Twitter to share the hilarious game summary:

Last night, I went to my nanas house to watch the football game. We suck. That game was a nightmare. We almost lost.
It really was a nightmare.
So bad she had to reiterate what a nightmare the experience was — do better, Vols.
