What a morning on Fox Sports Radio Toledo with Burns and Bellino (@FSMBlitz). I already made a mental note that this is one of the good ones. Filed away. Here’s the premise of what went down today. Toledo’s hockey team is about to clinch the #1 seed in the ECHL Eastern Conference playoffs. The team is second in the league in attendance.
The fans go absolutely crazy for this minor league hockey team. So today I wanted to see exactly how crazy these people were. Would someone get a tramp stamp for tickets throughout the playoffs? That could mean tickets to only one series if the Walleye flameout and take a first round L. That could also mean a maximum of 16 4-packs of tickets if they end up playing in the Finals and it goes 7 games.
At $18 a ticket, that could be somewhere around $1k in tickets to get a tramp stamp.
