There’s probably no one at the Pro Bowl happier than tight end Travis Kelce.
On Thursday, we told you guys that the Chiefs star landed a reality dating show in which he will sift through 50 jersey chasers to find “the one.” Fast-forward to today and Kelce’s life somehow gets better with the Chiefs rewarding him with a fat contract extension:
For his 5-year, $46M extension, #KCChiefs TE Travis Kelce gets a signing bonus just under $10M. Has a max value of $50M.

Prior to this, Kelce was slated to make around $675,000 in 2016:

Suffice it to say, the timing of this extension is just impeccable. Last night, the jersey chasers probably weren’t taking this thing too seriously, but now with $20.2 million guaranteed, shit just got real. Hopefully Kelce will be able to navigate past the greedy ones in his search for love.
