Fan Gets Matched On Tinder With A Minor League Baseball Player While At His Game

If you ever watch that 30 for 30 about Michael Jordan playing minor league baseball, you understand that playing at the double-A level isn’t all that great. You have to ride a bus everywhere and you aren’t making that much money.
Even though you’re considered a “professional player”, you don’t get the perks of a pro athlete. For instance, women aren’t throwing themselves at you. So you gotta do what you gotta do. It’s 2015, and as a single person you hop on Tinder and start swiping. That’s what Drew Vettleson of the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate) did, and got matched with a chick during his game.

I don’t know why this person felt the need to black out his name, because it took me 2 seconds to figure out who it was after a quick Google search. He was a former 1st round pick by Rays back in 2010.
I would say getting matched during your game would be good ice breaker, but when your a 23 year former first round pick still stuck in double-A and hitting .202 in late June, you might not be the type for a cleat chaser. He better have some better game off the field.
