Bank Robber Identified Via Raiders Logo Face Tattoo

Fabian Barrios pleaded guilty Wednesday to robbing an El Paso, Texas bank in February. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill bank robbery case. This on has an NFL affiliation. Look closely at Barrios’ face tattoo. That’s the shield. The Raiders shield. Barrios is a big fan. And that tattoo might’ve cost him upwards of 20 years of freedom.
According to the El Paso Times:

Documents stated that Montes is 6 feet 3 inches tall, 165 pounds and Barrios is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 220 pounds with a muscular build.
Barrios had been living in Odessa working for Sterling Electric before he was fired, according to complaint documents.
A teller at another Citibank branch in Midland told the FBI that she remembered Barrios previously cashing paychecks at the bank because he has a tattoo of the Oakland Raiders logo on the left side of his face, documents stated.

I’ve seen hundreds of sports logo hat, shirt, hoodie, coat robberies over the years, but never a case where a guy was popped because of the logo on the side of his face. That’s a first.
Barrios will be sentenced on June 24.
