Those of you who’ve been around BC over the years are very aware of Kentucky fan Kindly Myers. She’s always been a friend of the site going back to the early days. I got an email from her early this morning (1:33 EST) in which she sounded rather excited. “HelloooOooo It’s been a while and I’m super pumped about my cats being undefeated. I’m excited to see them win on Saturday! Final four baby! Pursuit of perfection 40-0,” Kindly wrote.
And then she added a few photos to the email. And I call this “work” on IRS documents.
Of course I went into investigative journalist mode to see exactly how “super pumped” Kindly (@KindlyMyers) , a bartender at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville, was for this huge Final Four. I wanted to see exactly how sure she was that .40 Cal’s 10-deep lineup would walk through Wisconsin and Duke/Michigan State. I put my worthless communications degree to work and asked the tough questions.
Go follow Kindly on IG. She’s always up to something.
BC: Let’s say Kentucky loses Saturday, are you willing to give up cheese for six months? A year?
Kindly: If Kentucky loses Saturday, which they won’t. I would give up cheese forever, and I love cheese.
BC: Which Harrison twin is the hottest? Why?
Kindly: I like Andrew’s beard.
BC: Let’s say you eventually get around to having a child. Would you be willing to name the child Calipari? What about Willie?
Kindly: Definitely I could have a little girl named Cali. I’m also a big Willie Cauley-Stein fan.
BC: Where will you have a 40-0 tattoo inked on your body?
Kindly: I’ve always wanted a neck tattoo… Just kidding. I’m not sure I’ll get a tattoo maybe just a temporary one.
BC: Who is the bigger prima donna Kentucky fan: Matt Jones or Ashley Judd?
Kindly: I’m going to have to say Ashley. I don’t know her personally but I do know Matt. He knows his stuff I’m a fan of his site Kentucky sports radio.
