The Cleveland Browns waived kicker Billy Cundiff today, signing former Saint Garrett Hartley to take his place. Cundiff has missed 5 kicks in the last 5 games, and after tweaking his knee in practice this week, Coach Mike Pettine apparently decided that it was time to cut ties. Poor Billy.
While some blogs might decide to focus on the Internet trolls ripping Cundiff to shreds, I’m going to taker a different route. Here are some nice things that people tweeted to Billy today on the day he became just another unemployed American. Maybe there’s some hope for this world after all.

@Billy_Cundiff sorry to hear man. Head up, #keepkickin

In all seriousness, people who tweet words of encouragement to failing professional athletes are far more psychotic than the people who troll them. “Head up, #keepkicken”?? Stay the fuck away from me Mark Urban.
