The 2024 NFL Preseason will start on August 8 with a game between the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots. This is an exciting time because it’s when we get to see the new players, called rookies, for the first time. We also get to see other players who are trying really hard to make it onto the team.
Each team will play three games.
Except for the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans, who have an extra game on August 1 in the Hall of Fame Game. The NFL Network plans to broadcast 21 live preseason games over three weeks, along with other national broadcasts.
