NFL Draft season is chugging right along, with the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine underway in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ahead of the on-field workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium, ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper is back with his latest mock draft and first-round projections. Kiper dropped his latest mock on Wednesday, February 28.
Once again, Kiper has the Chicago Bears taking USC’s Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick — which makes sense with rumors of Justin Fields getting traded increasing.
Quarterbacks continue to fly off the board early, with reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels going to the Washington Commanders at No. 2, while the New England Patriots select Drake Maye out of UNC at No. 3.
