Former NFL superstar Cam Newton was dragged into a wild brawl at an Atlanta area high school, and the incident was captured on video that is now making the rounds on social media.

According to TMZ Sports, Newton was at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Atlanta for an event by his foundation, C1N, a 7v7 league that puts on tournaments nationwide.

A group of men can be seen trying to punch and tackle Newton, who attempts to fend everyone off without throwing a punch.

Newton avoided any punches and kept his feet until help came in to separate the altercation.

There are no details about what actually sparked the brawl, and neither Newton’s camp nor the Atlanta police have made any public comments on the incident.

But whatever happened, kudos to Newton for fending off the group of men without throwing any punches of his own and to the event staff for reacting quickly enough to separate the melee before anyone was injured.
