Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years, where they will take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11, at Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is a rematch of Super Bowl 54, which the Chiefs won 31-20.

And with all of the team’s success and increased exposure thanks to Taylor Swift’s relationship with star tight end Travis Kelce, it appears that NFL fans are growing tired of the franchise.

The folks at BetOnline.ag analyzed geo-tagged keyword association data, tracking key phrases, hashtags, and team names with negative sentiment tweets directed at them.

For example, tweets with “I hate the Cowboys,” “Screw the Cowboys,” “(Expletive) the Cowboys,” etc. were used in the survey. It ran all those tweets through a geo-tracking program showing which team received the most negative tweets.

More than 120,000 tweets were tracked for the study.

When it was all said and done, the Kansas City Chiefs overtook the Dallas Cowboys for the top spot as the NFL’s new villain.
