After uncovering some surprising news, UFC champion Alex Pereira has called it quits with his fiancée, MMA content creator Merle Christine.
According to Pereira, who split with Christine in 2023, he decided to move on and “delete” her from his life after discovering she was already married. Pereira made the claims during an interview with the Full Send MMA podcast.
“It’s a little hard to talk about this because I already deleted this person from my life,” the light heavyweight titleholder said. “I would also like to ask my fans to also delete her from your life.
“It was a person I believed; I put her in my house with my family. After all, I found out, she was married.”
Christine, meanwhile, seemed to deny Pereira’s claims with a comment on a clip from the interview.
“Lol hurt man inventing whatever,” the Tapology podcast host wrote. “How can I be married and moving to the States? Lol.”
However, Pereira posted a series of texts allegedly between Christine and her now ex-husband that showed how she was able to “manipulate” two men simultaneously.

Now that Pereira has cut ties with Christine and is attempting to move on with his life, he can look forward to his first defense of the light heavyweight championship.
Pereira’s next fight and opponent have not been announced at this time.
