When nature calls, sometimes you just have to accept your fate. Unfortunately for one puppy, that led to an embarrassing moment on the court at the Footprint Center in Arizona.
The Phoenix Suns were taking on the Sacramento Kings, but there was a minor delay before the start of the second half after a puppy peed all over the court.
The Suns’ halftime entertainment was a puppy race and the fans in attendance got more than they bargained for.
That was the highlight of the race which got off to a slow start until the cheerleaders tried to lure the dogs to the finish line with toys.
The good news for the Suns despite the halftime mess was that the team was able to rally in the second half to score a 199-117 win led by Grayson Allen’s 29-point performance and Kevin Durant’s 27-point effort.
Up next for the Suns is a meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, January 19.
