Aaron Rodgers ruffled some feathers during his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show when he suggested that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel will appear on the Jeffery Epstein client list that is rumored to be released in the coming days or weeks.

The New York Jets quarterback made the reckless comments with zero evidence and immediately sparked reactions online.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are hoping that list doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said. “I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I will definitely be popping some sort of bottle.”

Kimmel, whose show airs on ABC — the company that owns 80 percent of ESPN where The Pat McAfee Show airs — caught wind of Rodgers’ comments and responded on social media.

“Dear Aasshole (sic): for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel wrote.

“Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12”

With Rodgers being paid millions to appear on The Pat McAfee Show every week, people began wondering how the comments could impact any future appearances by the NFL star or the relationship between the two entities.

However, ESPN has declined to comment to A.J. Perez of Front Office Sports.

Rodgers has consistently made controversial remarks during his weekly appearances with McAfee, so it will be worth monitoring to see whether the network puts an end to his stints on the show.
