Former Super Bowl champion Derrick Ward was arrested for a string of robberies in Los Angeles this week and now he has been charged with five felonies.
All of the charges against Ward were second-degree robbery, according to TMZ Sports.
Ward, who remains in police custody as of Thursday morning, was arrested “on Monday afternoon following allegations he used force and fear to rob establishments in the Los Angeles area, including gas stations.”

Ward helped the New York Giants win Super Bowl XLII against the undefeated New England Patriots. He would go on to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans.
Ward retired in 2012 with 2,628 rushing yards and 12 total TDs.
