Ohio State Football Unveils New All-Gray Alternate Uniform (PHOTOS)

The Ohio State football program is bringing a twist to tradition.

This week, the Buckeyes — who are ranked No. 1 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings — unveiled a new, all-gray alternate uniform that will be worn on Saturday, November 11 against the Michigan State Spartans.

It will be the first alternate uniform combination of all gray with scarlet accents.

The all-gray uniforms feature scarlet numbers with a white outline, and Ohio State’s home stripe pattern on the sleeves and pants, with the traditional logo on the chest.

The Buckeyes have worn alternate uniforms 33 times since 2009, and hold a 26-7 record — including a 15-2 mark at home — when wearing their non-traditional looks. Currently, the Buckeyes are on a seven-game winning streak in alternate uniforms.

Kickoff between the Buckeyes and Spartans at Ohio Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Ohio State opened as overwhelming 31.5-point favorites.
