A Texas Southern tuba player was sick of the heckling but also had a job to do.
Video went viral over the weekend that showed a member of the Texas Southern marching band staring down a fan who was screaming in his face during the Tigers’ game against Jackson State while he was playing his tuba in the stands.
After he had enough, the tuba player clocked the fan with multiple straight shots to the jaw before stumbling backward down the bleachers.
The best part? Mr. Tuba went right back to playing his instrument like nothing happened.

Now, I’m not one to condone violence, but this was deserved.
Let the tuba man play his tuba, there’s no need to get in his face. But since the fan decided to be bold, he got exactly what was coming to him and the band member was unbothered.
Unfortunately for Texas Southern, that was their only win of the day as Jackson State went on to earn a narrow victory, 21-19.
