NC State WR Kevin Concepcion Wins Freshman Of The Week Award

The North Carolina State Wolfpack played host to the Clemson Tigers last weekend and came away with a hard-fought victory over Dabo Swinney’s squad.

A big part of the Wolfpack’s success in Week 9 was freshman wide receiver Kevin Concepcion, who had a strong all-around performance.

Concepcion, who ranks third of all true freshmen with 5.2 receptions per game, recorded 134 total yards (83 receiving and 51 rushing) and two touchdowns on the day.

The Charlotte native’s highlights included a 72-yard receiving touchdown which was NC State’s longest passing play of the season, and a 50-yard rush which was the team’s longest run of the season.
