You can add Miami Dolphins defensive back and team captain Xavien Howard to the growing list of people who do not want the team to be featured on the upcoming season of Hard Knocks: In Season by HBO and NFL Films.
It was announced earlier this week that the Dolphins, who sit in first place in the AFC, were tabbed for the show.
It is just the third time that a team will be featured on the show during the NFL regular season and will provide behind-the-scenes footage of how the organization prepares for each opponent every week while highlighting some of the personalities on the roster.
Since the announcement, prominent players have been speaking out with their displeasure about the news, including star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Dolphins cornerback and team captain Xavien Howard was the latest to speak out and he’s clearly not thrilled.
“Hard Knocks is bullshit, especially during the season,” Howard said, via The Palm Beach Post. “No, I’m serious. I’m not a fan.
“I feel like being around cameras and stuff like that — I feel like we’ve got to do better. We’ve got to beat teams with good records. So I feel like before we get all the little fame that’s coming right now, I feel like we’ve got to put in work.”
Even wide receiver Braxton Berrios chimed in.

“It’s impossible not to feel a camera in front of you, right?” Berrios said. “The thing is we want to make it as organic as possible. We want to make our building as normal as possible. So obviously there’s a fine line. … We’re not here for a TV show. We’re here to win games.”
Hard Knocks: In Season with the Miami Dolphins is set to begin airing later this fall.
NFL Films cameras will be with the franchise through the end of the regular season, and if things go well for Miami, throughout the playoffs and Super Bowl.
