The Denver Broncos took care of business on Sunday, using a strong defensive effort to take down the division rival Kansas City Chiefs, 24-9, at Mile High.

Denver’s defense forced three first-half turnovers– including one interception and one strip-sack of Patrick Mahomes. In total, the Broncos forced five turnovers throughout the game.

While many football fans were surprised by Denver’s performance, it appears that they were expecting to get the win because they had a petty post-game celebration planned.

After the final whistle, the Broncos audio team ruthlessly trolled star tight end Travis Kelce and the Chiefs by blasting Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off” after the game. How do we know it was all pre-planned? Well, the cheerleaders had an entire choreographed routine.

Well played.

This is the level of petty trolling that everyone can get a good laugh out of — unless you are Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, or Mahomes puking his guts out after a putrid performance.

But for everyone else, it was fantastic. And the Broncos went 2-0 over Kansas City on the night.

And in case you were wondering, Kelce’s play without Swift in attendance continues to be subpar. When Swift is in attendance, he has 108 receiving yards per game. Without her in the stands, he averages 46.5… and on Sunday he had 58.
