Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has found himself in trouble with the law.

On Monday, reports surfaced that Ross was arrested and booked in Shawnee, Kansas. Ross was booked into Johnson County Jail and is facing a felony charge of criminal damage of more than $25,000, according to arrest records.

Ross was booked on Monday, October 23, at around 4:30 p.m. local time.

No bond was set, but a court date is scheduled for Tuesday, according to ESPN.com. The Chiefs said they are aware of the situation but have no further comment.

Ross joined the Chiefs in 2022 as an undrafted free agent after four years at Clemson where he was a member of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship team.

Ross did not play last season due to injuries but has appeared in all of the Chiefs’ games this season. Through seven games, Ross has recorded three catches for 34 yards.
