Australian Martial Artist Fights Kangaroo That Was Drowning His Dog (VIDEO)

An ex-cop and martial artist in Australia came to the rescue of his dog in a now-viral video.

Mick Moloney was walking along a river with his dogs when he noticed one was missing. That’s when he was a 7-foot-tall kangaroo in the water that was drowning his pup.

Moloney jumped into action and punched the kangaroo to free his dog.

“I saw a kangaroo … with his arms in the water, basically just staring at me,” Moloney told 7 News. “Hutchy came up gasping for air, water spilling out of his mouth and screaming his head off.

“I was like, “are you kidding me?'”

Moloney warned the kangaroo that he was going to punch it in the head, before hauling off and striking the animal.

The dog was safely taken to the shore while the kangaroo continued to stare Moloney down in the wild video. Moloney, meanwhile, said he suffered some minor scratches on his arm as the kangaroo briefly fought back.

Who knew kangaroos could be so dangerous?
