Where Is ESPN College GameDay This Week? Week 6 Location For 2023

Get ready, Dallas! ESPN College GameDay will be making the trip to Dallas, Texas for the Red River Showdown between the No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners and No. 3 Texas Longhorns.

The celebrity guest picker for Week 6’s show will for former Sooners star and Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield.

Along with winning the Heisman, Mayfield won the Maxwell Award, Manning Award, Walter Camp Award, Davey O’Brien Award, and so much more during his time with the Sooners.

This year marks the 119th edition of the Red River Showdown, also known as the Red River Rivalry, at the Cotton Bowl. The winner takes home the coveted Golden Hat.

Texas leads the all-time series, 63-50-5, and picked up a win in last year’s meeting between the two teams.

Kickoff between the Sooners and Longhorns is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
