The New York Jets recorded a big win to kick off their 2023-24 NFL campaign. Unfortunately, they also suffered a major loss.
The Jets came away from their Week 1 Monday Night Football showdown with the division rival Buffalo Bills with an overtime win thanks to a walk-off punt return touchdown from rookie Xavier Gipson.
However, just four plays into the game, star quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury that could end his season. The Jets fear that Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury, and head coach Robert Saleh said that former first-round pick Zach Wilson will be QB1 for the remainder of the year.
That didn’t stop fans and analysts from speculating, though.

Many believe that the Jets will sign a free agent or make a trade to bring in a signal-caller to compete with Wilson for the starting job. So, naturally, the oddsmakers are giving us a look at some of the potential candidates.
SportsBetting.ag has set odds for 24 potential quarterbacks who they believe are capable of learning Nathaniel Hackett’s offense.
Veterans Nick Foles and Colt McCoy are at the top of the list, while Ryan Fitzpatrick, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, and for some reason, Tim Tebow, are viewed as longshots.
Who could be joining the mix in New York?
