Henry Ruggs Sentenced To 3-To-10 Years In Prison For Deadly DUI Crash

Former NFL wide receiver Henry Suggs has officially been sentenced for his deadly 2021 DUI crash.

On Wednesday, the 24-year-old Ruggs was sentenced to three-to-ten years in prison for the crash that killed 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her golden retriever, according to reports.

Ruggs agreed to a plea deal earlier this year for one felony count of DUI resulting in death and one misdemeanor count of vehicular manslaughter

“To the parents and family of Ms. Tintor, I sincerely apologize for the pain and suffering my actions the morning of Nov. 2, 2021 have caused you, your family and those who knew Ms. Tina and Max,” the former Las Vegas Raiders receiver said in a courtroom statement, according to TMZ Sports.

“I let my family, my teammates and those who believed in me down with my actions and hurt so many.”Ruggs will be eligible for parole following his third year in prison.
