Happy Thursday, ladies and gentlemen. It feels like the sports world is rolling right along again. NFL teams are beginning to report for training camp, The Open Championship is underway, the FIFA Women’s World Cup kicked off bright and early on Thursday morning, and we have a full day of MLB action with afternoon baseball coming our way shortly after noon ET. There were some dark moments last night — like the MLS All-Stars being on the receiving end of a 5-0 shellacking from Arsenal — but the USWNT should right that wrong on Friday night when they kick off their World Cup campaign against Vietnam. While we gear up for a fun day, let’s take a look at some of the headlines from around the web that we may have missed.
- Meet Madison from New Jersey.
- An OnlyFans model turned-boxer has been pulled from her next match for flashing the crowd last weekend which led to plenty of backlash.
- Here is the USWNT World Cup Group Stage TV schedule & roster, kickoff times, dates, and more.
- Paige Spiranac shares her picks for The Open Championship.
- Police are investigating an incident at a funeral Conor McGregor bolted from after reports of an “altercation.”
- Division III school SUNY Morrisville inexplicably installed black turf and is getting ethered by the internet.
- Deion Sanders is undergoing more surgeries on his leg and foot.
- The Cleveland Browns have cut Perrion Winfrey after he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun.
- Shannon Sharpe is reportedly in conversations with ESPN to join First Take.
- Kiara Toth is tennis’s new villain after a shocking controversy in her match with Zhang Shuai.
- The Rock has created a new NIL program “The Rock’s Warriors” which includes the likes of LSU’s Angel Reese, Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr., Drake Maye of UNC, Brock Bowers from Georgia, and more.

A little Throwback Thursday to when Jordan Domineck stiff-armed his teammate into a block during a scoop-and-score. Domineck spent a year at Arkansas, where he finished top 3 in sacks among all SEC players, and will now be suiting up for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in 2023.
