Dan Hooker Also Broke His Face In UFC 290 Comeback Win (PHOTO)

Dan Hooker and Jalin Turner threw down on the UFC 290 pay-per-view main card and delivered one of the most electric fights of the night. There was no shortage of action, but the fight took a stunning turn.

Turner was delivering a beatdown and appeared to be on his way to victory, but Hooker was able to dig deep and rallied for a furious comeback victory.

We previously learned that Hooker made the comeback with a broken arm, but that wasn’t the only injury he suffered.

The 33-year-old New Zealander returned to social media and showed off another x-ray. This one shows a clean facial fracture right near his cheek. So, yes, Hooker made his miraculous comeback with a broken arm and broken face. If that doesn’t show the dog in him, I don’t know what will.

It’s hard to say exactly when Hooker suffered the facial fracture, but a good guess would be when he ate a clean headkick from Turner.

Hooker was still able to push through, however, and came away with the victory.

With the win, Hooker advanced to 23-12 in his professional mixed martial arts career. The win also positions Hooker near the top of the lightweight division once again and he will be looking to earn a title shot once he is fully healed and able to return to action.
