Dana White was not happy with one question after UFC 290 on Saturday night.
During the postfight press conference, the UFC boss was asked a question by MMA reporter John Morgan about the in-cage face-off between middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis, who is next in line to challenge for the title.
Adesanya entered the ring after Du Plessis scored a dominant win over former champion Robert Whittaker on the pay-per-view card and trash talk was exchanged.
“Let’s go n*gga. What’s up, bItch? Let’s go, n*gga. Yeah, my African brother,” Adesanya said, taunting the South African who had previously made comments on social media that he was the real African fighter.

Morgan asked whether he was worried about the language and how the trash talk could go in the lead-up to the fight, referring to the “n-word” and “racial undertones.”
White was having none of that and immediately ripped into Morgan and shut down any concern.
“[Adesanya’s] black… I could care less. This is the fight business,” White said. “Israel Adesanya can say whatever he wants to say. Who gives a s–t? Why, are people bitching about that? Of course they are.”
Dana White was asked about the “racial tension” between Israel Adasanya & Dricus Du Pleissis.

It was an absurd question, especially when you know that Adesanya was born in Nigeria and Du Plessis in South Africa. The two have taunted each other on social media and now they get to settle their beef in the cage.
And the lead-up is going to be a lot of fun.
We will have to wait and see when the two get to let their hands do the talking, but hopefully it will be later this year.
