The NASCAR Cup Series is in Atlanta this weekend for the Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart under the lights at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. There are only 10 races remaining in the Cup Series season before the playoffs begin.
Entering Sunday night’s showdown, Aric Almirola sits in the pole position. It is the fifth pole win of his career.
Rounding out the front row is Ryan Blaney and the No. 12 Ford, while Chase Briscoe, Joey Logano, and Harrison Burton round out the top five. Kevin Harvick qualified in sixth place, making it all Fords in the first three rows.
The Quaker State 400 — is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET on the USA Network — and will be 260 laps around the 1.54-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway track for a total of 400.4 miles. It will be broken into three segments, with Stage 1 featuring 60 laps and Stage 2 featuring 100 laps, while Stage 3 includes the final 100 laps of the race.
