Baltimore Ravens fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
On Thursday, April 27, just hours ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Ravens announced they have agreed to a five-year deal with franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Jackson had previously been franchise tagged by the team and requested a trade. Now, the Ravens can move forward with their franchise quarterback locked up for the foreseeable future.
Terms of the deal were not announced.
After news of the deal was announced, Lamar Jackson appeared in a video tweeted out by the Ravens where he was relieved to finally put the drawn-out drama behind him and move forward with the team.
