Kliff Kingsbury has found a new role.
According to a report from The Athletic, the former Texas Tech Red Raiders and Arizona Cardinals head coach has been added to the USC football program’s coaching staff in an offensive analyst role.
Kingsbury was previously hired by the Trojans as offensive coordinator following the 2018 season but resigned less than two months later on January 8, 2019, after accepting his NFL opportunity with the Cardinals.
The 43-year-old Kingsbury is widely regarded as one of the best offensive minds in football.
He will now be a senior offensive analyst for one of the best offenses in college football — led by Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams — which finished No. 3 in total offense and passing last season.
Kingsbury’s duties at USC will involve working with the Trojans quarterbacks, game planning, film study with head coach Lincoln Riley, and quarterback meetings.
USC finished last season with an 11-3 record and reached the Pac-12 championship game after going 8-1 in conference play.
