The NBA regular season is winding down, but the action continues on Wednesday night with another NBA on ESPN doubleheader as we prepare to ring in April.
In the nightcap, the Western Conference takes center stage when the Minnesota Timberwolves make a trip to the desert for a meeting with the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center. If the season were to end today, both teams would be in the playoffs.
Phoenix is currently the No. 4 seed in the West with a record of 40-35, while the Timberwolves are sitting as the No. 7 seed with a record of 39-17. It’s a logjam in the west with Minnesota being two wins away from the No. 4 seed and two losses away from falling out of the final play-in spot.
Tip-off is set for 10:00 p.m. ET.
Entering Wednesday night’s game, the Suns are solid 6-point favorites over the visiting Timberwolves while the over/under for the game is set for 234.5 total points.
