Alexa Bliss Shows Up-Close Look At ‘Frankenstein’ Mark From Skin Cancer Surgery

Alexa Bliss is recovering after going under the knife for skin cancer surgery, and the WWE Superstar is showing fans an up close and personal update.

Bliss — whose real name is Alexis Cabrera — took to social media to show fans the “aftermatch” of the surgery which was a few stitches on her face. “Went from lookin glam to lookin like Frankenstein,” Bliss joked.

Bliss previously revealed that she was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma which is one of the most common types of skin cancer in the United States.

“There was a spot on my face yes — that had gotten worse. So went to get biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma. During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked,” she responded to a fan on social media.

Bliss is a former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and the first woman to hold the title twice. She would later become a three-time Raw Women’s Champion and a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, making her the second Women’s Triple Crown Champion.

There is no word on when Bliss will return to the ring, but she will be in attendance for WrestleMania 39 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 and 2.

“I will be in L.A. for WrestleMania,” Bliss told the Cinema Blend. “I will be at the arena. Who knows what that leads to? Because, you know, in WWE, you never know what’s going to happen. It’s the company where you always expect the unexpected. We’ll have to see.”
