One man in Australia is going to have sore arms for the foreseeable future.
Jaxon Italiano of Australia is the new pull-up king after setting a new Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups done in a 24-hour period. Mr. Italiano put on his display back in November and is now being recognized as the new record-holder after smashing the previous record by nearly 300 pull-ups.
While most of us were spending our days on the couch relaxing after school or work, Italiano was pounding out pull-ups. Just how many did it take to set the record? A whopping 8,008.
Italiano crushed the record and had more than 3 hours of time remaining, but he called it quits after completely gassing himself out.

βI am aiming to raise $1 for every pull up I manage to do. But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia,” he wrote on his fundraiser page.
βAll funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counseling, support groups, education and training.β
Simply incredible.
