The NASCAR Cup Series is in Las Vegas this weekend for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada. The race is the third race of the Cup Series season.
Entering Sunday’s showdown, Joey Logano sits in the pole position. It is the 27th pole win of his career.
Logano won the most recent race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 16 in the Cup Series Playoffs en route to winning the 2022 Cup Series championship.
Rounding out the front row is William Byron and the No. 24 Chevrolet, while Ryan Blaney, Ty Gibbs, and Kyle Busch, who won last weekend’s Auto Club 400, round out the top five.
The Pennzoil 400 — is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX — is 267 laps around the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway track for a total of 400 miles. It will be broken into three segments, with Stage 1 featuring 80 laps and Stage 2 featuring 85 laps, while Stage 3 includes the final 102 laps of the race.
