The Florida Panthers teased special warmup jerseys on Thursday night, and the full unveiling of the sweaters delivered in a big way.
The Panthers will be wearing some incredible threads prior to tonight’s game against the Buffalo Sabres at FLA Live Arena.
It is Black History Night for the Panthers, and their warmups — which were designed by artist Keyani Watkins — are inspired by Tupac Shakur and “The Rose That Grew from Concrete,” the collection of poetry written by Tupac to detail the struggles throughout his life.

Talk about a home run.
Predictably, fans loved the special look and were wondering how they can get their hands on one of the sweaters. While they will not be available for sale, the Panthers will hold a jersey auction for the special threads.
We can't wait to see these on the ice tonight!
All proceeds will benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation.
