The Michigan football team is still enjoying its win over rival Ohio State.
This past week, the Wolverines took to social media to unveil commemorative necklaces for “The Game.” It was the second straight season Michigan beat Ohio State — which has resulted in back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances — so the team decided to do something special.
The necklaces feature a custom pendant featuring the block M logo, a shovel and a sword to symbolize “build and attack,” and the score with Ohio Stadium on the back.
Michigan unveiled the commemorative necklaces at the end of last week.

After the chain was unveiled, the Wolverines were immediately roasted for the pendant being ugly and for copying Ohio State.
Looks dumb as hell but I like they made these two years in a row. The screens at the Woody need a 24/7 slideshow of these knockoffs all year https://t.co/aPzfEgZRGA

Remember in like the 70s and 80s when Michigan fans would make fun of OSUs gold pants because they didn’t need a reward for doing what’s expected. Well well well…how the turn tables… https://t.co/beRFHQFSp9

If there is one thing we can always count on, it is the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry bringing a certain level of pettiness every month of the year. Let’s see how things play out on the field this season.
