NBA All-Star Weekend is finally here, and the festivities kicked off on Friday night with the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge. On Saturday, the highlights of the weekend take place with the Three-Point and Slam Dunk Contests.
In the nightcap on Saturday, the Slam Dunk Contest takes place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix with four players from across the league battling it out for the title.
Mac McClung, who currently plays for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League is favored to bring home the trophy, followed by Jericho Sims of the New York Knicks. Kenyon Martin Jr. of the Houston Rockets follows close behind, while New Orleans Pelicans guard Trey Murphy III is the longshot.
The contest will be judged by former NBA players Karl Malone, Dominique Wilkins, Jamal Crawford, and Harold Miner, and 8-time WNBA All-Star Lisa Leslie.
